A visual pick-list assistant that runs on Zebra Android devices. Scan a finder barcode and the app builds your pick list, then uses the camera with a live overlay to confirm you’re grabbing the right item from the right storage location.
This one connects directly to my day job as a Sales Engineer at Zebra Technologies — it started as a demo tool for showing what Zebra hardware can do and grew into a genuinely useful internal utility for managing demo gear.
How It Works
- Scan — finder barcodes and DataMatrix labels identify kits and individual items
- Pick — the app assembles the full list of gear with storage locations
- Verify — a camera overlay matches what you’re looking at against what you’re supposed to pull
