A sales-engineering demo tool for my day job at Zebra. You snap together an outbound-fulfillment warehouse, run a generic current-state scenario, then replay the same workload with Zebra devices in the mix and review the results side by side.

It’s a real simulation, not a scripted animation. Runs are seeded, so the same setup gives the same numbers every time, which matters when the point is a fair comparison.

How It’s Built

  • Pure TypeScript simulation core, kept separate from the UI and covered by determinism tests
  • Three.js via React Three Fiber for the warehouse floor
  • Local-first PWA, so it installs and runs offline on a laptop in a conference room with bad Wi-Fi

Status

A working prototype, built milestone by milestone with a review gate on each one. Next up is live experiments: change a variable mid-run and recalculate from time zero under the same fairness rules.
