Every time I solved a fiddly Zebra problem with an AI coding agent, the fix lived in one chat and then vanished. This pack keeps them. Each skill is a small, versioned set of instructions an agent loads when the task matches, so the next person (usually me) starts from the answer instead of the rabbit hole.

What’s In It

  • Router: describe the situation (“demo tomorrow”, “customer sent logs”) and get pointed at the right skill or starter prompt
  • Device identifiers: reading EID, IMEI, and serial on Zebra Android devices the supported way
  • AI Data Capture SDK: setup order, camera lifecycle, and the gotchas that cost me an afternoon each
  • Device capability lookup: which models run real-time AI, their platform, and lifecycle facts
  • DataWedge profiles: intent-based scanning, including the Android 14+ rules
  • Branding: Zebra’s palette, type, and logo rules for demos and decks

Why It’s Shaped This Way

The pack syncs through git only, and each machine points its agent at the folder once. Skill content travels; the wiring stays local and disposable.
